Anyone have the Alumacraft captains chair and have removed the arm-rests? Just wondering how those come off. They are a little high for me. TIA

Arms off and first generation covers in place. This will do for now…I’m sure I will tweak it but these are the parts/pieces I had laying around the shop

Dave, I dislike my captains chair for the same reason. Maybe if I was 6’7″ the arm rests would fit. Was it pretty simple to remove them?

It was super easy. Follow Dutchboy’s link from above and it walks you thru it.

    Dave,

I can’t for the life of me get the arm rests to come off. I’ve tried pushing them in, but no dice. Any tips?

It was tricky. Push them in and rotate backwards. You will be able to feel the point where the arms pop out/unlock. I did spray a little lube in them before I started
