Maybe. Where are you located? How many do you want to trade?

    Thanks for the tip Mike!

    I’ve been looking for 2 3/4″ for 2 years now. At a price that isn’t totally outrageous…
    Got mine ordered! yay

I seen 3 boxes of 2 3/4” at Runnings in St. Cloud Friday. Not sure if they had more. I didn’t ask.

Some one must have seen the post about St. Cloud as they sold all their boxes out yesterday!

Are those Accu-tips that much better than a Brenneke? I’ve got a Winchester 1200 20 gauge that I shoot 3″ Brenneke slugs through and can drive tacks with it. The price on the Accu-tips seem to be a little on the outrageous side at $25-$28 per box of 5. I bought 5 boxes of 3″ Brennekes online a month ago for $63.50 and that included shipping! The 2 3/4″ were even cheaper.

If your guns drives tacks with brenneke then stay with them. No reason to change. The only reason I was using them in my 11-87 is because everything else I tried besides accu tips and hornady sst slugs would wander all over the place. When I was buying them they were $15 a box years ago

I’ve got a 12ga 1100 that is basically useless since federal seems to have stopped making the old hour glass shaped 2 3/4” sabots. I’ve got 3 boxes of them left. I’ve had the gun for years. Tried everything I could get my hands on. Nothing else groups very well. I jumped the gun on a 220. I didn’t think getting slugs for it would be so hard.

Accu-tips were actually made by Remington specifically for the Savage 220 and 212.

They are tack drivers in my 220 out to 200 yards. I should say the 2 3/4″ are. I don’t get that with the 3″ Accu-tips and they kick harder besides.
I’ve tried a butt load of other slugs and so far found nothing close to being as accurate as the Accu-tips.
I only use them in my 220 so don’t know how they are in other guns.

If Brennkes are working stay with them! My 220 loves 2 3/4 Accutips out to 200 also!. Anything else wanders all over! I shoot Brennekes thru my smooth bore shotgun and they work fine for that but not the Savage!
