Are their any Remington 788 fans out there? I have a couple – .22-250 and a .243. Both are shootin’ machines – seem to be more accurate than any of my current stuff.

I have one in .223. Not the best looking gun, but it sure does shoot straight. Great gun for the money.

I absolutely love the 788’s! I have quite a few and the price of them keeps going up and up. Less then 10 years ago you could pick them up for 200-300 dollars and now they are almost double! Remington discontinued them in the early 80’s and every one that I own shoots almost as good as some of my custom rifles.

Sold my .243, but they will have to bury me with my .22-250. This one is like almost new with a Burris 3×9 and I added a Timmeney trigger (2#). Shot a buck this fall with it (neck shot @50 yards). Now it is time for calling coyotes.
