Hello all. I have a vintage Remington 760 in .30-06. Nice rifle. I am in search of 1 or 2 additional magazines for it. Vintage would be best. All the reviews on the aftermarket mags are pretty poor and I want mags that will function well. Any help or insight is appreciated. I’ll pay pretty well for a vintage mag in good working order. Thank you all for your time and consideration into this matter.– Rob

As far as I know, all the pumps take the same clip, 3006 or 270

    Will a 7600 magazine fit in a 760?

Mag’s for those 760’s are really a hit or miss. It doesn’t matter if they are new or vintage. Factory or after market. A mag that works well in one gun will often not work well in another. I have 2 or 3 friends who own 760’s and they all have a hard time finding a new mag that works well if they lose or misplace one of theirs.

I think 76, 760, 762, and 7600 used the same mag and if it wasn’t for the useless bolt release thing on the autoloader models, they would be the same and they can be used in the pumps
