If you remember correctly, he bass fished competitively for Winona State. Many of us followed him on the college tour. But it looks like he hasn’t been on here for 2 years.
I am connected with him on LinkedIn and got an update on his new job. “Recreation Coordinator at Ocean Reef Club” which is in Key Largo. How cool would that be as a young man? Although he’s now going to have to drive a bit to do any bass fishing.

The boy had gills he was into fishing so much. 
There is a large family of Bartusek’s who are big into bass fishing in the Metro area. I believe Adam is one of the younger members of that family. I have fished with and against several of them. They are all excellent fishermen. Best of luck to the young man.
I just texted Adam and let him know. He was surprised and may even make a visit back to say hello! He has a team called Team Yukon Outdoors which is a social media outlet for him and his crew. They do videos and posts all over the midwest. He is a good kid! I like Adam.
Hey guys! Wow it’s been a while since I checked in here. I’ve been so busy with school, work, and fishing it just sorta slowly faded out of my routine. I’ve missed the friendly forum chats! Nick got ahold of me this morning and let me know that I was a “Wanted Man” on IDO. I was shocked that my name had become the title of a forum post hahaha, but I’m glad to see it’s not negative…. yet.
Yes, I just moved down to Key Largo, FL for the summer. I am a Recreation Coordinator at the Ocean Reef Club, so basically I just get to have fun all day and play with kids. It’s a pretty awesome way to end my senior year of college and fulfill my internship. I will be back in the Midwest August 17th and hope to get up to Mille Lacs to do some smallie fishing shortly after. In all honestly I’ll go wherever to catch some fish once I’m back!
Yes, I am one of the younger Bartusek relatives. Billy and Joe are close friends and family members of mine. They are incredible sticks, still haven’t beaten them on Minnetonka.
Like Nick said, I run a social media outlet called Team Yukon Outdoors (LLC.) and we do a ton of work all year long in regards to promotion. I’ve been extremely busy with this for the last few years and it’s only gonna get more hectic this fall and winter! We’ve got a lot of big stuff coming so it’s nice to know you guys are still watching over me haha. Hope all is well with you guys!

Sounds like a fun way to spend a summer after a Senior year. Like you, I have also not been able to beat Billy or Joe on Tonka. I’m heading North to woman lake after work tonight to chase SM for the weekend. I’ll try to set the hook into a Big 6Lb. fish for you. Take it easy !!!!!

Yes I remember Adam. Do believe he was from New Prague when a number of us IDO guys chipped in to help him out. So he could make it to the High School Championship down south. . . Adam jump back on IDO now an then an let us all know how you are doing. . Are you still fishing Bass Tournaments.?? … rrr
Fished against Adam on are Tuesday bass league last year. Great guy and always has a positive attitude. Also a nice guy just to chat fishing with. Good luck Adam we will miss you on Tuesdays.
I’m still fishing bass tournaments! I’ll be involved in a few more once I get back to the Midwest this fall but I fished quite a few last summer and actually did terrible haha so we’re chalking last summer up as a learning experience. But yes I’m from New Prague and yes you guys helped me go down to Arkansas in 2012 to fish the World Championship! I’ll always be grateful for that.

Don’t get to my age and wished you had used it at

California has LOTS of sun where I grew up, It will
