Now that I have the time to reload shotgun shells, I need supplies.
Does anyone know where the prices are lowest?

for “lowest prices, you have to shop around and piece your order together with multiple sources. seems like one shop is good on powder and higher on everything else

Alot of common components such as powder and primers you may find are pretty scarce right now. What are you loading for?

Back when I reloaded my best prices were found when going in with others on cases or pallets. Especially lead shot.

Stop into a local gun club and ask around to others to see if they’d like to do the same.

Primers (yes even shotgun 209s) and some powder are absolutely vaporware right now. I’m buying a co-workers entire reloading setup just to get the powder and primers.

I acquired some shotgun reloading supplies from a neighbor who’s husband had passed away. Primers, wads, and powder. I don’t have a complete list right now, but can take some pictures. PM me if you’re interested. Located in NW Metro (Dayton).

What are you reloading for hunting or skeet & trap?
Right now with the price of reloading components. You might be better off buying when shells are on sale.

    Reloading for trap and skeet.
Box store prices really don’t save much money unless I can get my prices down, especially shot.

If you buy in lots of 5000 for primers and wadsit’s not to bad.Problem is powder in 8# is up $30 and shot is like $50.

Here’s what I have right now:
2 – 1 lb Red Dot powder jugs (sealed)
2 – 4 lb Red Dot Casks (one sealed – one opened but mostly full)
    500 – Winchester AA Wads
    250 Winchester Superlite AA Wads
    1200 Winchester 209 Primers

Retail online prices are over $300 plus tax. I’ll sell it all for $200 cash.

In the past I’ve had good luck with Powder Valley!
