I figured I’d move this over to the classifieds since my potential buyer fell through. My late husband and I used to reload 12ga shotgun shells and I’d like to sell the equipment and supplies in one lot together. I’m asking $1250 or best offer, and pick up in the SE Metro (Eagan area preferred).

Everything should be in working order, although some of these powders look rather old and they are all open, so I understand if I’m throwing them in there for free since people might not want to use opened powders. The buckets of empty shells are 5 gallon. The box of boxes are EMPTY (to fill after reloading) and there’s about 45 of them.

Feel free to share with someone you know who might be interested!

Sharon, if you don’t get a bite here, stop out to the Minneapolis Gun Club in Prior Lake and talk with the manager (I believe it’s still Mark Cameron?) he may be able to help you find a buyer. Or at least let you post it on their for sale board.

Sharon, I wish you all the luck. Couple years ago, I helped a buddies family sell his stuff. Shot, primers and bullet loading equipment are good items. Someone may use the powder if it’s unopened. But if it’s open it’s kind of like a used toothbrush. Someone may take a chance to save a buck. But many won’t.
He had the same reloader that sat at our gun club for a year with a $100 on it, they finally donated it. The wads are $12.00 a bag. The charging bars are $20 to $25. But most guys I know use one they have chosen and stay with it for consistency. Gun Clubs dump barrels of both empties and boxes weekly now as reloading is so expensive, and components are hard to get. Shot and primers have come down a little. Googles is your friend. Bronnels is a good source for prices. Although they will be a little higher than other internet sites. But will give you an idea. I agree with previous advice to sell in 2 lots. Bullet and shot shell stuff separate. Think you will do ok. But may need to do some homework on the prices. Good luck hope you do well.
