What to do on this hot and muggy afternoon? Think about the upcoming hunting seasons and reload shells in the cool AC while listening to a collection of blues tunes from my Dad! Life is good today. )

    Great minds, etc.

I was just down in the shop taking inventory last night. Need to start loading practice ammo for the deer hunting pistol. Luckily, I have enough bullets in stock.

It’s a 7-30 Waters and I only fire-formed 50 cases when I bought it and haven’t bothered to do more, so it’s load, shoot, load, shoot.

For my father, I load up his favorite 180 CoreLokt for the 06 and I do 100 at a time, so that lasts forever Now that his wild younger days of whacking driven deer on the run are over, he has averaged 1.3 rounds per deer for the last 20 years.

Hahaha, yeah Billy got a reloader from his uncle last year some time and we’ve been reloading 12 gauge shells. It’s kinda fun! Last night I filled up 5 1/2 boxes and only messed up 3 shells… You forget ONE lousy primer and the rotation gets all messed up!

Sharon, Olivia has about 1200 empties that need to be filled. Still looking for something to do?
