I know people (me included) spend some bucks on ice fishing outerwear, i.e. Striker, Clam, Eskimo, etc. Does anybody have any first hand experience with this RefrigiWear?

Old friend used to work outside in Minnesota winters, and his company used RefrigiWear, and he said it was really warm, and he was a freeze baby.

No experience with it, but looking at their web site they look to have good reviews and the price seems reasonable. Be interesting to see if anyone here has any personal experience with their bibs and Jackets

I wear them at work and I like them. They are made for working in a freezer.

    What Mitts did you get?

Not sure if link works. These are great for keeping hands warm. Not so great for holding things/completing tasks. But for a stationary mitt, very warm!

    My dad gets it from
His job he drives forklift in a freezer and hands me down everything bibs jacket gloves boots all work well for me working outside and ice fishing. The jacket is nice and warm
But doesn’t have a hood so I tend to use other jackets

I wore a set of their bibs and coat for a couple winters. They’re decent. I didn’t like that the jacket didn’t have a hood but I can see that may be a plus for someone else. The set is black and 3x if anyone’s interested in them. I’m in central WI but will be at Leech Lake the week after Christmas. Would consider any offer or trade.

I have two sets of softshell bibs. Good to almost zero with pants underneath. I am working in them, not sitting still though. They do a good job of blocking wind. Coats don’t come in tall sizes it irritates the heck out of me.
