I have seen very good performance from the Okuma Ceymar series. I have 4 now. My latest was C3 on a walleye jig rod. I worked it out on Red over opener.

I’ll see what an Okuma feels like to. Have a couple Ceymar’s on ice rods and have been happy with them.

Ceymar with baitfeeder feature is great for slip bobber application

I just had a one year old Fuego that was back reeling while fighting fish even though lever was not engaged. I carefully took it all apart, and found it wasn’t assembled correctly. Works like a champ now

I have two bobber rigs. Rods are 7 to 7-6 medium weight, nothing special. One has a President and the other a Legacy. I like the Legacy better.

I said Legacy but meant Daiwa Legalis.

Rodwork, i noticed you build rods–what action ,power, and length are you using for your bobber rods? What rod blank ditributor? I also build and have been using Mudhole. I’ve been using a moderate fast action , light power in 7’0. seem to work well. kinda new at this so looking for any advice. Thanks
