Fishing has been awesome for me but as I sit here reflecting on my last few outings..I am reminded how fortunate and blessed to be able to get out when I want and take friends and family along to experience and share my passion of the outdoors..having had many ups and downs..just as many as us all but not forgetting nor regreting my pass which I chose to call my greatest assets..the true blessing in it all is to find your gift in life..and the true purpose in life is to give it away..
In my new career I’m blessed to work with special needs youths and aldults. My dream has always been to be able to share my passion with people and figure out a way to get paid for it..( not so much as guiding) to much pressure there..besides I have soooo much to learn to even consider that..those guys have mad skills..any how..to the reports..I have taken one of my clients out quite a bit within the last few weeks. Not allowed to post pics of him but I tell you the smiles..priceless …
Plastics have taken off big time..for big Sauger and walleyes up shallow..here’s a few pics of family and friends with some catches of a lifetime

I’ve noticed a few times seeing you out there with your work clients and commend you for taking the time an effort to allow them the chance to do what most wouldn’t take the extra time to do for them. Keep up the good work been fun following your reports ,and I am sure they still have smiles across their faces being out on the water.

Great post and thank you for sharing. You seem to be a real class act – we could use more of those. Thanks for the reports and keeping my fishing passion fed. Keep it up!

God Bless you Louis! I really enjoy reading your reports and the pictures you provide. These are the type of posts that brought me to IDO.

Unfortunately we do not see enough posts like this one anymore. I use to really enjoy seeing River Dan’s reports through the winter and early spring, allowed me to dream about the good bite while having to work. Unfortunately he got blasted for posting too many kept fish pictures and have not seen a post since. On a fishery that has been pounded for decades and still produces, and will continue to do so.

Way too much complaining about this and that anymore, would love to see more specifics on the “fun” things happening while fishing and less of the bad things someone did or what the DNR should have done.

We all have a chance to make a difference in peoples lives, but you have taken it to a whole new level. Hats off to you sir!

    Way to GO Louis,
Keep being the example, you sometimes never know
who is looking up to you as a Positive role model.
You are a fine example of paying it forward.
    God Bless,
    Jack
