    But there’s something better…

We hosted our family Christmas over the past weekend, and every year we all contribute to an awesome Bloody bar with the infamous Red Solo Cups.

This Christmas we had our guests use the relatively new Ball Aluminum cups as an alternative to plastic throw-away crap we usually use at a party. They all loved them!

I’ve been using them since the first came out (though I was a bit skeptical when Kate brought them home).

If you’re not using them yet, give them a try toast They’re 100x tougher than a regular plastic solo cup, reusable, washable, and when you don’t feel like washing them or you bent one up just toss them in the RECYCLING instead of the trash.

They hold up awesome and I use them all of the time on fishing and hunting trips, as well as at home at times.

They’re also Made In The USA (unlike red solo cups)

The label says they’re “not designed for dishwasher use”, but you can mrgreen (I think it’s because they’re lighter than a normal glass)

Give a hoot and don’t pollute grin

Nice! Solo cups aren’t what they used to be anyhow. You almost have to put two of them together so when you pick them up full the sides don’t collapse in and force half your drink out the top. We have some Coors cups that are thick aluminum but they really transfer the cold and you can’t hold them long before you have to set them down.
