The alert on my phone said 6-10″ up to 35 mph winds. Accurate? Check with me Monday.

Out of Rogers yesterday among the zoo of people. A few people started the “Let’s Go Brandon” chant, eventually alot of people joined in. Maybe a 1/2 mile wide or so.

I wonder if the fish joined in as well?? 🤔

It’s a beautiful day on red. We can’t see any one in sight and the fish are plentiful.

Went to Red yesterday and the fish were biting. I caught my limit of unders. Some guys were getting more over 17”. Most came on a pink uv tingler spoon with a minnow head. A pink hook and fathead on a dead stick got bit too. 8” of clear ice in 8’ of water.

Did you see those F16’s?!?! Got buzzed by two fighter jets. That was so cool!! Everyone was standing out on the ice looking up at the sky in awe as they gave us a little show! Wish I would have gotten a video.

See/hear a lot of jets in the summer at the cabin in Adams County. They train out of Volk Field in Camp Douglas, WI.
Pretty neat when you see 3 or 4 flying together.

I did drive by Red yesterday on way to warroad for work, not the greatest drive given the conditions but nothing the ol Sonota cant handle. I do have my fishing gear with in case I get some to time to hit the ice.

2 days over 100 walleye and 2 snot rockets for 2 guys. Funny story, told my buddy after we had a triple, on a tip up a set line and him jigging. Would be nice if all 4 went down at the same time. 2 min later one of those snot rockets tangled all 4 of our lines. 😂

My boy has been out on 2 other lakes around Bemidji in the last week. He was seeing anything from 4-6″ of ice with some open spots as well. With all the snow they got along hwy 2 its going to make it pretty sketchy for a couple of weeks. Approx 12-14″ snow fell near town.

How much snow did red get? Travel with an atv still easy?

One resort claimed only 4-5″ of snow that wouldn’t impact things too much. I would think more will be posted within the next few days for the major resorts as many places had mentioned the smaller 4 mans going out by next weekend.

Maybe 4 inches of snow we got on red. We have been traveling with atv and trailer with no issues

What are you finding for ice amounts? I’m sure it varies in some spots…but speaking in general terms.

We’re heading up to fish all day Thursday & Friday. We’re debating staying up through the chaos of the weekend or not. If there’s enough ice to truly get away from people, we will probably stay all weekend. If not and it’s pretty confined, we will probably roll out Friday evening as the crowds are coming.

We can’t see a single person in any direction. Haven’t found anything less then 5 6 inches. Plenty good. Obviously if you go past the staked off areas just proceed with caution. That’s what we are doing and it’s paid off greatly. We probably have iced 60 fish today between 4 of us. Started fishing at 1030. We slept in. Woke up at 5 and it was -9 and the wind was bucking. Still is. We will be up here till Thursday morning.

we are about 60 Miles east of bemidji, from what I can see or heard they have 8 inches of snow. I’d love to hear 8 inches of ice too.

Nice work on the fish and the rippies, looks like one guy missed the memo on a beard tho. Hopefully he supplied some Keith Stones to make up for the uniform failure jester

Glad to see Rogers pull boxes put out a big winner for you guys, and nice crappie! Love seeing those bonus slabs show up once in awhile.
