Spent a couple nights with Red Lake Ice Cabins on Red 12.26-12.28. The fishing wasn’t fast, but we had some decent action. Most of the fish were caught between 8pm – 4am. My son caught his first walleye through the ice (22″) and I had a nice 3am wake up call (27″). Glow red or plain red hook worked best for me. Good luck if you make your way up!

I couldn’t make it there yesterday but am heading out tomorrow. How thick is the ice?
There had to be at least 18″ of ice when we left.
Spent the weekend on center bar. Caught word yesterday James Holst was out there. Hope he did as well as we did. Fishing was insane!!!!
Last show was filmed there already. Fishing was great this weekend fun when you getting beat up hands from taking off fish.
