I’ve been looking at a few meat mixers and having a hard time with the $100 and up price tag for a little stainless mixing pot.

Anyone have a design for one they made themselves? Or a more reasonable priced option. I would like to do 5# to 25# at a time and I generally do about 200# a year

Elbow gloves and a clean kitchen sink…holds about 100 pounds and you get your cardio workout at the same time. Way cheaper than a commercial mixer and you don’t have to store it.

I made a Kirby Bucket style. It works good and if you have basic hands-on skills, it is relatively easy to make. Do a quick search on google for a Kirby Bucket Meat Mixer and there should be all sorts of DIY walk-throughs you can use. I used a small 2gal bucket and it works good for about 10lbs of meat.
