I have an older (ice camo) non-insulated Otter pullover. Its getting a little thin in spots from the black coating wearing off (light and wind coming through). Anyone have any luck recoating the inside of one of these? What product did you use. I was thinking of using mighty putty, It seems like magic in the commercials (sarcasm). I am looking for something that would stick, but still be thin enough to remain somewhat flexible in the cold. some kind of spray undercoating?

I used Plasti-Dip aerosol on a Clam a few years ago. I sprayed it on very thin. It held up well the 1st year, year 2 it started pealing late in the season. Sold it before the next season but I think I could have recoated it and it would have held up for a couple years again.

Your a little late, posted last year Otter was closing out the 650 cover for $39 for that sled but they are long gone.

I tried the spray can undercoating a few years ago on my old Clam X2. No good. It started flaking off after 2 weeks of use. It gave me a good excuse to upgrade to the thermal tent as the tub and poles were still in great shape. I have heard of a guy who used truck bed coating and he liked it but I never saw or heard a follow up as to long term durability.
