reccomended dead stick blank

    Hello,

    I am stepping into the world of rod building, I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for a good dead stick blank to build a rod? I would like for it to compare to TUCR or Thorne Bro’s deadstick.

    I have a Janns Netcraft walleye dead stick blank you can have for $7

    These solid graphite/fiberglass composite ice fishing rod blanks are designed with the walleye fisherman in mind. Faster action and more backbone than the Microlite series rod blanks. Rod blank is 31″ long, black with blaze orange tip. Use it in a shanty or when bucket fishing. .180″ diameter butt, tip 6.0/64″.
