I have a really hard time reading the LX7 outside, especially on sunny days. I have tried different color combinations and changing the backlight brightness and display. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I found that removing the snow shield helps a lot if you haven’t already done that.

I take the snow shield off mine. There are two ways to maximize visibility. One is to turn the back of the unit to face the sun, the other is to put your back to the sun and place the unit in your shadow.

Thanks Ben & Glenn for the reply’s. I’ve tried both and they each help a little, I’m 75 and think the eyes are going south which may be the main problem. I was hoping there something other than the eye doc I could do.
