Does anyone have a go to product to re-waterproofing a rain jacket? A few years back, the go to product seemed to be the nikwax brand…. looking to do a jacket and upland hunting pants. any suggestions?

Campdry is my go to. I like it because you can go heavy on areas that are typically problematic (zippers, seams, shoulders, knees, cuffs, etc) and lighter on areas that have less issues.

Before the advent of ice suits most of us had Carhart bibs and jackets. I would coat the legs of mine in a can of camp dry for each leg, and absolutely soak the knees and below. I was able to kneel in slushy snow for hours and literally come home dry. And the coating would last a few years before needing recoating.

I’ve tried the wash-in kind you put in the washing machine and never had results that satisfied me. The simpler the better for me.

303 Fabric Guard works great. I put it on every time I need to wash my waterfowl clothing. Does a great job on just about all types of fabric, specially rain jackets.

Damn thats a good idea. I work out side with water all winter and my carharts are always soaked through. Im going to use a entire can on each leg
