Lake Rathbun Memorial Weekend

What a fishery Walleyes/crappies/ and silvers I was there to compete for a walleye tourny and found the fishing to be awesomeWhat worked for us on the walleye was drifting thumper or whistler jigs tipped with crawlers on the flats this also produced some dandy white bass also witnessed lots of nice crappie coming out of the bays.I heard that some other teams did good on spinners and crawler and leeches on flats and shallow points you southern Iowa boys are sure lucky to have this fishery in your backyard
