You can catch crappies and white bass about anywhere at Rathbun. I was walleye fishing Saturday and didn’t see any of the crappie tournament guys on the main lake. I did catch a 14″ crappie though by accident. We were casting the shore with sassyshad and were picking up crappie pretty regularly. I don’t think the crappie have moved shallow though. We didn’t do too well on the walleyes Saturday, but there were some caught Friday.
There’s a crappie by every tree in Little River, they are just small though.
