Hey guys what’s everyone’s opinion on the Rapala Lithium Ion fillet knife. Is it reliable, powerful, worth the money? I have the regular fillet knives also just wanted a powered one for numbers of fish.

Yes, Very powerful, and reliable. Battery last along time (multiple days cleaning fish)

Well worth the money. Berkley Lithium knife is good also, a little sleeker but less power than the Rapala. Both are awesome.

Well worth the money. I took mine with me to lake Powell Utah this year on a week long trip and it was still going strong when we left to come home after cleaning 30+ fish a day. Plenty of power even on those stripped bass. You won’t be disappointed.

I have one as well and can’t ever remember draining the battery in on long weekend trips with daily filleting. I also bring the charger with as it has worried me in the past but I have stopped bringing it with now.

I bought one this summer and really like it. Batteries do indeed last a long time, but I have another battery fully charged just in case.
The one thing I was bummed about that I found out the first time I was cleaning fish is the blades are slightly different in how they lock into the knife than my rapala corded model. I was going to continue to use my old blades but as I used it they kept pulling out. Then I noticed the blades on the cordless have a small window in there for a locking mechanism inside the knife.
Not a major deal, but I was lucky I brought multiple sets of blades with when we went to Canada or I would have never been able to clean fish because they just kept coming out.

I’ve used them since Rapala came out with them. They are very nice power wise. I can clean 48-60 average size walleye 15″-20″ on a charge.

My only complaint is the blade release buttons. I’ve had to return my knife three times. They warrantied it every time. The design of the buttons is very poor. I’ve had them a part. The buttons consist of multiple parts glued together. Eventually the glue falls apart. This knife will be perfect once they figure out a new release button.
