Just wondering how slow this rig will troll down to with either a 90 Etec or 90 Opti. And how they get on plane with say 2-3 people in the boat. I’m sure there’s a few people on here with these rigs. And does anyone recommend the titan steering or merc power big tiller on these.
This is what I put on my boat and it works great! http://www.cabelas.com/p-0000915012282a.shtml I bought mine from Lyback’s in Isle. You may want to trim the sides down. It all depends on how slow you really want to go. It didn’t affect my top end at all!
Eyes – I’m currently fishing out of an ’04 618T w/ 90 hp ETech. Big spring current I can go 2.1 mph (GPS) on open water 2.3 – 2.4. If I want to get down to a crawl (< 1.0) I toss out a drift sock or two. Kurt
