Took my Ranger in to be sold yesterday. Bought it new in 1998. Has been an excellent boat, motor has been great. In the last 2 years I think I took it out 3 times. I do more trolling now so I use my old Tuffy with the 60hp 4 stroke. The Ranger couldn’t be beat when it came time to cast either for Bass or Pike, Muskie.

Tough decision but I really don’t need 2 boats.

Really going to miss that boat.

Looks like you took good care of that boat. Is that a 681? Someone will be lucky to get it!

Jon, 681VS the boat is really in nice shape. Couple of light scratches and one chip in the gel. All and all I think it’s really going to make a great fishing rig for somebody. Everybody who has ever fished out of a 681 has liked it.

Maybe they won’t get it sold and I’ll have to keep it!

    Thanks for the kind words.

I did the same thing a couple weeks back. Sold my little favorite-’01-16′ Lunker Alumacraft,50hp 4str Suzuki. Time to do a little downsizing and it was the favorite but the most underused of the two. BK will have to find someone else to swipe drain plugs from jerr

It’s sitting at Prince Marine on Hwy 169 on the way to Mille Lacs. They have all the info on it.

Honestly, if you post that thing in a few places (maybe a muskie website) you’ll sell it within a week. Most of them go for $13,000-$15,000 with an opti. Maybe the consignment thing is easier, but selling a 681 on your own can’t be much harder.
