I am searching for a used Ranger 620 with 250 four stroke Yamaha, and T8/9.9 kicker.

I’m looking for something with a walk-thru windshield from 2011 or newer with Humminbird electronics.

Can’t afford new boat prices, and would like to keep cost below $60K.

Please call Tom Hubbard (715)490-0585 with any info.

    Thank you kindly.

Looks like he already has a WTB there too

    Good luck, happy shopping!

Thanks for suggestion…And yup, been keeping a lookout on WC every day, but was hoping someone who was considering selling would read my post, and maybe bypass advertising.

“Can’t afford new boat prices, and would like to keep cost below $60K.”

I’m not directing it towards the OP, but there is something seriously wrong with that statement.

    Why do you say that?

All he is saying is that new boats are crazy expensive.

Oh yea, I would agree with that. It is really crazy how much they get for a new boat. I also think its crazy what they get for a new truck, new car, heck even a pound of bacon anymore. Its funny how everything is going up except my hourly wage.

I agree, prices are crazy. I remember my dad buying his 16′ SmokerCraft back in ’97 and paying $9,500, and thinking that was a lot.

Could save a ton on sales tax also.

    Maybe buy a Skeeter.
You can probably buy a new one with a 250 yammie for $60K.

I priced the WX2060 and it was well over $60K.

If you can hold it off until fall, you could start asking the pros who are planning on selling their boats and start negotiating/locking in the price now. Then you could probably even get a free day of guided fishing out of it.

Have looked at Outdoorsfirst.com? They have a 2013 620 for $58,000. There are quite a few Rangers.

    Never mind! Evinrude and Lowrance

Yup, I’ve been looking daily under Walleye Central, Craigslist, Walleye Inc, Walleye First and many of the Midwest dealerships. Just doesn’t seem to be a lot of Rangers with Yamaha set ups. I have spoke with one Green Bay guide/pro whose boat will be for sale in November, just not sure of a tournament boat or one that was guided in heavily? I think if Yamaha had a contingency offer for tournaments there would be more pros running them.

If the boats right, trading out the motors might not be too terribly costly? I’m not sure. I’m very specific as well and run Yammies, would feel odd seeing something else back there!

How about the Skeeter just posted today. Sounds like a heck of a deal for ya!

I guess I should have been more specific with the wording of my ad, but I’m looking for a Ranger 620VS with Yamaha’s. A 621, nor a Skeeter WX2190 will fit in my garage.
    Thanks though.

I was actually thinking of the MX-2025 not the WX series boat. I realize of course that you may not like that style of boat or that you may very well be fishing primarily big water.

Anybody have any thoughts on the Ranger 619? I got pricing on a 2014 with Yamaha 225, and they’re significantly cheaper than a 620. I walked around inside both boats, and they feel very similar, but unsure if the 619 could fish as well as the 620 in the rough stuff? Talking from mostly a trolling standpoint for Green Bay & Lake Superior.

note the change in trim levels from the 619 to the 620’s – look at the switches in the dash and other things.

Having owned both hulls prior to the major changes in 2008 I would not go smaller than the 620 if you are fishing great lakes. I really like the 621 (ran several of those also) for a trolling boat.

Good luck – you might be best to start looking a used boats this fall from tournament anglers, if you can wait that long.

From the research I’ve done, don’t go with a 619 vs. 620 if you troll a lot. I fished out of a buddies 621 and it felt cramped with two people and the horse shoe storage. the 619 I believe is a foot shorter than the 620 in the back end.

Have you had any luck? I’m looking for a 621vs same setup with a yamaha and it is also a pain to fine one. Heck I’m looking from 2008 and up.

Don’t care for a merc even if it may be faster or quieter

I have a friend in St. Cloud that has a 2006 620 with full windshield, Yamaha 250 4 stroke, Yamaha T8 kicker, Lowrance 113CHD on bow and dash and an Lowrance Elite 7 HDI in dash, Minnkota 80 lb Terrova with I pilot, boat and motor cover, boarding ladder, trollmaster, and dual throttle controls. Big motor has 295 hours on it. If interested send me a pm and I will get you his cell phone number. Not sure on price.
