Last couple of times out this compartment is wet towards the back. I assume it is coming from the live well as it only happens when I have used it. I am calling Ranger tomorrow, but was curious if anyone else has had this issue. Thanks, Jim

I also have a 2006 619 which the dry compartment on the starboard side is getting wet. It doesn’t happen all the time. My assumption it might be the bilge pump, but I’m not sure. Please post what Ranger says…

I have a 618vs and had the same problem. In front of the counsel between the rubber gasket and the counsel there is a small drain hole that gets plugged and the water gets past the gasket. I stuck a wire through and it is good. Keep an eye on it as the hole is too small.

Guys your problem is inside your livewells. On my 2009 619 my port compartment was always getting wet. Problem was inside the livewell on both ends where the back deck comes down on top of the livewell there is a gap where they put a silicone bead in. Your silicone is falling out and or it wasn’t put in very well at the plant. That was the case with mine. The wetness occurs when you fill the livewell full then have waves slosh the water from side to side. It’s hard to get your head in there to see it plus your upside down. Just put the silicone on your finger and troll it in there. Be careful as there are sharp edges in there from the fiberglass. Sorry to be long winded but that’s your problem. Both sides will leak if the silicone has fallen out.

I’ll have to keep an eye on this. Thanks for the heads up Might be a good idea to fill the live well to make sure it doesn’t leak
