Ranger 620 structure scan transducer location

Where is the best location to mount the lowrance structure scan transducer on a 620 Ranger?

Here is what I did for my Structure Scan..

Lowrance has a shoot thru transducer that eliminates the need for any bracket on the outside of your boat. It requires a one inch hole in the base of the boat to run the transducer and cable thru to the transducer port on the structure scan module.

You will eliminate the potential of the transducer being hit by any object should you mount it on the transom. Check out lowrance.com to check it out.
