Hull Protection

I own a new Ranger Reata and plan on leaving it in the water this summer, roughly April through October. It will be on Lake St. Clair and the water is stained. Is there anything I can put on the hull to protect it from staining or blistering. I do not want to paint it, I was looking for some sort of clear protective coat?

So a boat lift isn’t an option? I know I use a product like bass boat saver, for

No, I’m at a Marina without lifts for the summer.

It may be OK but I’d be skeptical about leaving my rig in the water all season. We fish some stained waters and there is a scum line after just one day. I can’t imagine how thick that scum line would come fall.

Can you pre-treat the hull with wax or other coating so the hull is still protected? Maybe a call to Ranger or check with some local marina’s to see what they are doing?

Why not pull it out every few weeks and pressure wash it?
