I have used Optima,Interstate, and Trojan. All were Group 31 deep cycle batteries. The Trojans were the best. Got them from Batteries Plus for around $100 each.

I think Cabelas might still be running a special on their own branded AGM batteries. I have two of them and they work well.

Yup Trojans then Interstates, and I feel Optimas being last on my list. Interstates don’t hurt the pocket as bad as those Trojans

http://www.odysseybattery.com Check out the specs and warranty on them, nothing else comes close. Swing thru Chippewa Falls @ Skeeter Boat Center, they have them instock. 31M PC-2150’s are the big boys and the 34M PC-1500’s the smaller size.

You will not go wrong with the Optima’s……you know the old saying you get what you pay for.

and they have no where near the capacity of a AGM or traditional lead acid. the only real upside to the is their light weight.

I’ve love to find some Trojan 31’s for a $100 or solast I looked they where nearly $200+ for the big mama’s, I ran the Tojan with the 225 minutes reserve they were freaking beast! IMHO the best battery I’ve run.

My Everstarts aren’t looking so hot. , still I can buy 3 sets of them for the price on one set of trojans. my feelings are mixed.

I had Optimas and 1 of them died in 4 monthes. Free replacement and 2 were good for 5 years. Have had good luck with Cabelas and Delco Voyagers also over the years.
