I saw an add today for a 2010 618T ranger. Loaded. the guy was asking over 35k. It seems pretty high priced. what do you guys think?

A boat is worth what you are willing to pay for it. Add up accessories, boat hours, wear and tear and go from there.

I saw that boat and it is very sharp. For comparison I found a new 618/90 Evinrude at Frankie’s for $32k. The boat online had 5-6k worth of electronics atleast, so subtract the $500 HDS 5 on the Frankie’s boat for comparison and call it 5k of accessories. That makes it a $37,000 boat-usage. No licensing fees on a used boat.

Thanks guys. I just don’t see buying a 1 year old boat over a new one, to save 1k or 2k. Just my thoughts.

I will be looking for a boat like this come March. Maybe a ’05 to 08′ Been dreaming about this boat for years. finally gonna pull the trigger. Can’t wait

I think that’s high – i picked up an ’06 620T in June of ’09 w/ 115 E-TEC for under $25K. There are deals out there and the newer boats continue to increase in cost driving up the used market…

    Good luck!
