Ranger 175T trolling motor set back

    Has anyone mounted the Ranger kicker set back on a 175T? I’m told it’s a bit tricky to get the bolts in the correct place where the transom is reinforced. The dealer says he is too busy to install it but drilling 4 holes through the transom can’t be too difficult – I just need to get them in the correct place. Any advice will be appreciated.

    I am sure it can be done, I would look around and find someone that has some experience rigging, drilling the transom one shot deal.

    Thanks. I agree but there are not many guys running the 175 and so far I can’t find anyone who has personally done it.
