Ranger 175T

    I’m thinking about re-powering my Ranger 175. I currently run a Merc 75 hp but am considering a Yamaha 70. Has anyone gone to a 70 on this boat? How does it perform? Thanks

    Stay with the 75, the 70 works but getting up on plane is a chore with heavy loads.

    Dutchman, you might want to consider upgrading to a stainless steel prop instead. If you don’t already have one, of course.
