ram mount for chirp 73sv?

    I’m looking for the swivel ram mount for a Garmin chirp 73sv. Anybody know which model would fit? Thanks in advance!

    I copied this from a Garmin discussion board –
    “Ram Mount 111 with 1.5 inch ball is what I use on both the 73dv and 93sv”

    what bolts/ locking nuts are folks using to attach the base of locator to the RAM mount? I am having a hard time finding such a small diameter bolt. the holes in the base are not very large

    I’m going to ask the same ? The ram mount comes with no hardware and the garmin just comes with 4 screws and no mounting instructions?

    You may have to drill larger holes.
    I have a “Johnny Ray mount”, that I used with my old locator. I wound up drilling new mounting holes to fit my new 93sv.
    I also have a Ram mount that was used for a handheld GPSMAP 76CSx and wound up drilling larger holes in the base to better secure it to the boat.

    When mounting my new 93sv to the Johnny Ray mount, I used larger Stainless Steel screws and Stainless nylon lock nuts.

    I ended up using 8-32 x 1 1/2 machine screws with nylon locking nuts.
    I put washers underneath the heads of the screws
