Has anyone used the Ram ball made to attach directly to a boats Accessorie Track for mounting electronics? I know I can mount a standard ball to a Lund SportTrak bracket which is probably the strongest solution but that adds another device and more cost. Has anyone had experience with the Ram track mount for a Humminbird Helix 7?
I went and looked at these online after reading your post. I am going to change to these!!
I have 2 ram balls mounted at the “console area” of my 1800 Lund Alaskan. I’ve been wanting to relocate my GPS in front of me like in a console boat for longer runs and search for fish. So I don’t always have to look sideways at my screen.
With this system, I could use the same ball in multiple locations and switch easily, with their track system!! Definitely switch to this system!
