Rainy River

Plan on going to the Rainy River next week however I am worried about the forks melting causing the river to be dirty and unfishable. Does anyone know the status of the conditions of the river?
I fished here last year for the first time and pounded some pigs. Hoping the water conditions are fishable this year.
Any info on the river and the bight would be great as it is a 6hr drive for me.

Forks went yesterday. Expect water to dirty. Eyes have not left big lake either yet. I’d expect that to start very soon and accompany dirty water.

Though the forks didn’t look terribly disastrous to the fishing based in what I saw yesterday with my own eyes

Majority of the debris from the forks already dumped into rainy about 5-7 days ago the forks have dropped some and the flow isn’t to terrible. The river is slowly clearing up I’d say by 8-10th it will hopefully be cleared up enough to get a good bite going. Pending no large precipitation up there obviously.
