We are heading to voyagers and camping this coming week just east of the narrows. Looking to see if anyone has recently been there and have any fishing tips.

We have gone several years in a row but it seems it takes several days to find the schools.

If you have any input it would be Great. And we will be sure to post when we get back!

    Thx Travis

Just got back last Wednesday. Best fishing was windy points in Cormorant Bay. Casting 1/8 oz. green jigs with shiners (dead). note, this is in Canada. Weather has been all over the place and water level is down about 18 inch’s. Fish are not in their usual places. They may be located on 20 foot humps when you are there. Heard some reports they were catching Walleyes trolling night crawlers on first break and along weed beds.

    Good luck

Hey Wayne, what were you seeing for weed growth? Was it starting to come in?

Heading up on Friday for the North Arm for a week. Hoping we’ll still be on the shoreline bite and maybe the weeds will be filling in for some good pike action.

I will be fishing at Rainy Lake June 23 thru June 30th on the Canadian side at Coppen’s Resort (coppensresort.com). I’m wondering if anyone has smallmouth and walleye tips for this time of the year in that section of the lake. Thank you!
