My folks and my brother’s family are up on the north arm this week. Sounds like they’re burning lots of gas…. not looking for fish, but dodging storms and squalls.
They’ve been there since Saturday. Probably only accumulated a day’s worth of quality fishing in that time. But when they do get to fish, it’s been good.
Weedlines adjacent to deep water are producing well pulling harnesses. They haven’t hit the rocks too much yet, but with nice weather on the horizon, I’m sure they’ll stretch their legs and venture out to the reefs.
Plenty of nice keepers in the 15″ to 17.5″ range along with some overs pushing 24″ along the weeds.
