8 miles east of Stillwater. My rain gage has 3 1/4″ in it. It came so hard and fast about all I got out of it was the chance to bring my driveway gravel back up the hill. jerr

    I had a 1/2 inch at 7am. 2.5 hours later 3″ in the gauge.

Avon got passed up this round. Seems to be the case the past 2 months.

We had hard rain both at 10:30 last night in the east Metro, and all morning. Of course, my digital gauge got knocked over so I didn’t get a measurement, but it had to 3-4 inches.

Be careful out there, the rivers are going to come up fast and be full of lots of crap.

Here’s a great resource for rainfall and snow totals in Minnesota.

If you click on Station Name at the top it will put the cities in alphabetical order.

I’m just shy of 2.5 in Woodbury as of 11:00 am.

Still at it, 3.75 at 2PM. Me’n the pup just barely got back to the truck before it turned loose around 8 this morning in Hudson. Lotsa flash-BOOM stuff for a while. Probably the biggest one day accumulation so far this summer….jerr

Thanks good chart… I have a few others but they are tied to closest airport or other landmarks that may not be very close to the actually city in question…

Lightening bolt just hit so close it scared me and the dogs!! And there’s kids outside walking home from school. That seems wrong?!

Is that why you like snow so much, it doesn’t make noise?

Could be. I’ve been jumpy of storms ever since a big one tore into our neighborhood many years ago. We had the Red Cross there for days.
