Planning on doing our annual smallie trip. Will the river go to No Wake after all of this rain? we always launch in Hudson and head south, will the launch be open? I would guess that the SM bass are just now spawning, thoughts?

    thanks

Didn’t drive by the city ramp but the launch on the south side of the Hudson Marina was partially flooded this morning.

Rookie ?, does the entire system become no wake or does it cut off at a certain point?

It’s no wake today and it always runs from Taylors Falls Dam to the Mississippi River. Slowest speed while being able to navigate your vessel but never more then 5 mph.

I thought it had to hit 283 to be no wake? Its not quite there yet.

Hudson City ramp was closed this (Wed) morning. Water well into the parking lot.

Where is Beanies overflow parking located?

The way the overflow parking works at BeanDocks is you launch your boat and then you drive your truck and trailer to the west side of Hudson Road North(frontage road west of St. Croix Trail). The Beanie van follows you and shuttles you back to the river.

    Hope that helps.

I was out last night and found some active fish. Stopped at 3 and hustled home to cook. I only have ‘after’ pic. )
