Me and and buddy had a great weekend of hunting. Total we shot nine rabbits, four squirrls, a coyote, and a red fox. We also got that set of deer antlers in the pic from a deer we found. It was laying like somebody dumped it in a grove, all the meat was gone but they left the antlers. Dont know why but i figured they would be a good addition to the ice house.

Wow! Excellent hunt indeed! Are the antlers legal to keep when found that way? All that rabbit must make good stew. Ever smoke them?

I dont see why they are illegal not much different then just finding it dead and then taking them. And yes i have had smoked rabbit and it is delisious. 
In some areas, I believe, it’s illegal to take the antlers of a carcass……not aware of any reasoning but I’m sure a call to your local CO would clear up any confusion. IMHO, where the meat of this deer was all gone, even if it was illegal, I wouldn’t ticket an offender…….makes no sense to.
On a much, much brighter note, I wish I had a weekend ANYWHERE in my life that looked that good! Nice job!

Looks like you guys got into the rabbits pretty good, rabbits are a blast to hunt, especially in dense cover.
