So I broke a 30” TUCR Quick Tip this weekend. I was messing with my battery box in the sled, somehow the line got snagged and…….. SNAP. Very bad way to start off a morning of fishing. It is not a clean break, and it is splintered down to the second eye. Trash, or should I have someone try to replace the 2nd eye with a tip top? I know it will never be the same rod, but maybe okay for dead stick? Loved the rod, will order another, but I don’t see getting one built before the end of this ice season.
