    2003 Mercury 125hp.

I have a drain plug at the bottom and at the top I have two plugs one for vent and one for oil level. Side by Side.

Do I just do the traditional way of draining and filling, then wait till it comes out vent or oil level hole?

    Thanks,

As you are all ready thinking that the vent is for air and oil lever is for oil. I myself I would fill to the oil lever side. Good luck!!

Alright that is what I was thinking also. Not sure why there is a vent and oil level literally right next to each other.

There may be internal baffles or passages not visible from the outside. Does your owners manual give any instructions for this maintenance procedure?
