Quick disconnect battery cables

    I purchased a second boat this summer (16’ flat bottom) for hitting the local river and ponds/lakes near me that prohibit gas motors. Instead of purchasing a whole new set of batteries for this boat, I thought I’d look into quick disconnects so I could swap between my regular boat and the small one.

    Anybody do something similar?

    Here’s what I’m looking at.

    That appears to be Anderson SB-50 connectors. If this is just for trolling motor use (not starting outboard) you could probably save a few bucks and get more selection for wire gauge from these folks;

    How about simple wing nuts? In SS, probably only a couple buck a piece.
