Question for all MX 1825 owners with factory installed 30" front SS Bow Rails

For those MX1825 owners with the 30″ Bow Stainless Steel Rails installed from the factory, can you measure the distance from the edge of the pop up cleat to the edge of the installed bow rail? This will give me the hole location to work from.

I’m installing some on my boat soon and curious what the factory mounting location is…

    Much appreciated!

This screenshot I grabbed from an old SBC MX1825 walk through video is all I have to really work from, it appears the distance from the pop-up cleat to the start of the rail is about 4″ or so?

Joe my mx is at the cabin garage. Hope to get up there next week and I can get a measurement for you.

    Sounds good! Thanks!

I’m installing the rails to mount a RAM arm connector for a Livescope pole, I also thought about installing 16” traxx plates but I think the rails will flow better considering I already have the 50” middle rails on the sides.

Any regrets having the bow rails?

No. I have Ram rod holders and a Ram trolling motor support mounted to them. Also doesn’t allow anyone stepping on the glass when boarding from the dock.

Mine is in my friend’s barn about an hour away or I could get that measurement for you. Decided to do that this year instead of leaving it in the driveway. I think it misses me, and me it…

Not sure it really matters it’s just matter of appearance. As long as it is the same on both sides I would think it would be fine.

It’s going to take me a month or so to build up the courage to drill 4 holes in my boat anyways! No worries guys!

I agree, just curious what the factory mounting location is.

Right bit and taped off it is not the bad. I would probably measure 3 times.
    lol
Guessing Ramsey Boat Center would have an idea.
