I want to ask a question about my Garcia 2500c reels. But I.m new to the site and don’t see where to ask it. Would someone steer me in the right direction?
I read a article where someone had asked about his quantum reel. But found nowhere to start a new question.

I bought a couple of 2500c Garcia bait casters that have the same problem. The tube that the level wind turns in, has a lot of slop side ways, back and forth. It seems that tightening the sides would take care of the problem. But the sides are tight, and every thing on the reel works, very smoothly, and correctly. I have owned several of the c series reels before, and don’t recall ever having noticed this, with them. They both cast, and reel in fine, and also the drag.
Anyone got any ideas?
I would do a search on that particular reel,or contact the manufacturer.Hard to say if it is a defect,or cost cutting on parts.
I had some problems with older Shimano Symetres,the roller clutch would bind when reel was cold/wet.If Shimano added a support bearing next to the roller clutch,it probably would not had the problem?
