I’ve noticed something weird about charging my vexilar that I thought maybe somebody here could help me with. Sometimes whenot I go to recharge my battery, the green charging indicator light will go on wayour before it should. I’m talking like after a half hour of charging when I used the vexilar for 6 plus hours. Also, I always make sure the wire connections are tight. Does anybody have any idea what might be causing this?

Test the battery with a fluke (or any other good tester) and see what the actual voltage is (with the charger disconnected) when the green LED goes on. Mine switched on at about 12.2V, and a fully charged battery is about 13.7 to 14.1
Had it happen to a Marcum of mine a few years back. Brought it in to Marcum and they found that the charger was faulty, battery was still good. Could be either one of them though I guess. Like Randy said, test it to fond out if the battery is just not holding a full charge.
