pulling legend xl behind sled on winnipeg?

I bought a clam legend XL thermal this winter specifically to use for run and gun fishing on Winnipeg. I’ve been able to get around with my 1/2ton gmc the past three winters but they are calling for snow that might make that impossible. The purpose of buying the clam instead of the otter was because of size and weight to easily put in in the box of the truck along with two others when moving locations. I have access to a snowmobile as a back up but I need to find the best way to tow the legend xl while still being able to pull it by hand once we are on location and want to hole hop. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    thanks,

    Aaron

I use the standard clam tow bar to pull behind my ATV. For pulling by hand, I have a fairly long rope with a cheap lightweight carabiner on each end.
Simply remove the quick pins from the tub to tow bar connection and clip the rope onto the brackets.
When you’re ready to head back, reattach the tow bar.

I tied a rope with a wooden dowel handle to the end of the tow bar. 18″ of rope and a 10″ handle. I believe otter makes a towbar with a handle built in that you could install on your shack as well.

A clam pull harness clipped directly to the hitch works well.

    Bring tracks. Travel is tough.

Snowmobiles (aka sled) generally come with a track installed. lol

I should hope so! My comment was more to you driving around the lake in your truck.
