Pulling Leadcore in a Resivour/Current

My question is at what speeds do you pull your crankbaits at with the current and into the current? I’m struggle to get it dialed in.

1.8-2.5 depending on the time of year. The only thing that will change is the amount that you let out. Going with the current=less line…going against it=more line out.

Somewhere between 2-5 mph. After water hits 70 I feel most people go too slow.

Catch a sheepshead, always speed up to catch a walleye… though you never said what you want to catch.

Cooling trend, slow down
Warming Trend, speed up
Stable, speed up

Then again, in thermocline conditions I’m usually 2-3.5.
Trolling upper water column of a deep basin, very fast.

If I was on pepin today I’d probably start @ 2.5 and go up from there.
