I pull my boat behind my fifth wheel. My boat is only 16.75 ft but if you are under 70 ft you should be ok. So the rules are 70 ft from bumper to prop and your camper can’t be longer then 28 ft.

Also your tow vehicle has to be rated for the weight towed. And the way I read it depending on your weight being towed most half ton pick ups cannot do this

Add a camera on the back of the camper to keep an eye on the boat. Something goes wrong ya dont want to see the boat wipping around or running true dragging with a flat tire. The tech is there so use it.

Check the regulations for each state you plan to travel through.

This sounds terrible, but I’m a wuss so maybe it wouldn’t be too bad.

I have a crew cab dually and a 21 foot skeeter. I did the math and there is no fith wheel small enough to be legal.

I’d pay good money to watch you back that train down a ramp to launch!

How do you plan on stopping that “train”? I’m thinking that 21′ boat is a lot of weight pushing up behind a trailer while braking

Boat should have brakes, 5th wheel has brakes, tow vehicle has brakes, I would imagine your only concerns would be overall legth. Rating of tow vehicle, rating of 5th wheel . Rating of receiver on the back of 5th wheel.
