Pulaski Ice Free?

Went way up to Pine city just to find too much ice to launch, probably could have crunched my way threw but that big ol’ spendy Gen.3 ducer sticking way out gave me pause. Pulaski was on my list and I see the launch is not in a backwater. Hate to name a lake but that one is pretty well known. White Bear is a possibility that north end where the launch is takes forever to freeze.
Hate sitting around and waiting for ice, so guess I’ll just go out and curse the ice.

I’m sitting at my folks place on Green in Chisago and it’s totally free as is the launch. Might be an option for you.

Should have messaged me. Was in pine city all day yesterday.
Did a conoe hunt in the deep back woods had both walkable ice and no ice. Depends where you were. Lakes are free from ice still

Fwiw, I’ve busted thru some good ice with that ducer. Works just fine still

Big lake, bit of a swampy backwater where you launch. Smacked up one tail light pretty good, at least broke the cover, ducer really sticks out and I’m chicken!
I’m sure most of the lake would have been fine, nice weather, wind was light for a change.

Pokegama had like 4 trailers there. No ice at that launch.

I only know that because thats where my canoe trip ended. And we were the only people coming in to the launch in blaze orange with dead deer lol
